Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards valued less than 10 are worth face value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they strictly depict the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for every hand will be the sum of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 produces a score of two (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card can be given out depending on the foll. codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of 8 or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the player has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the player hits, a chart is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Winning stakes on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even odds minus a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure to have funds left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie typically pays eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is not a good gamble as ties will occur less than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try laying money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are especially better – nine to 1 vs. eight to one)

When played smartly, baccarat offers generally good odds, away from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future results. Keeping track of past conclusions on a chart is definitely a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and almost certainly most successful tactic is the one-3-two-6 technique. This technique is employed to magnify payouts and reducing risk.

commence by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
