Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules
Baccarat chemin de fer is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the cards, although the 1st digit is dropped. e.g., a hand of five and six has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 = 11; ignore the 1st ‘one’).
A 3rd card can be given out using the following rules:
- If the player or bank has a score of 8 or 9, both players stand.
- If the gambler has less than 5, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.
- If the gambler stands, the banker takes a card on five or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to decide if the banker holds or takes a card.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a 5% commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you leave the game so be sure to have money remaining before you head out). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning bets for a tie typically pay eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a awful bet as a tie occurs less than one in every ten rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. eight to one)
Gambled on properly punto banco offers fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Banque Scheme
As with all games baccarat banque has some accepted misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future events. Keeping score of past results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.
The most common and definitely the most successful scheme is the one, three, two, six method. This tactic is used to maximize earnings and limit risk.
Begin by wagering one chip. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will hold 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you come away with a win on the third round, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th round.
Should you do not win on the first round, you take a loss of one. A win on the initial bet followed by a hit on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Success on the initial 2 with a hit on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And success on the initial 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all four rounds gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd bet 5 times for each favorable run of 4 bets and in the end, balance the books.
