Punto Banco Policies
Baccarat banque is played with eight decks in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the cards, although the 1st number is ignored. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a total of one (five plus 6 = 11; ditch the initial ‘1′).
A 3rd card could be given out using the rules below:
- If the gambler or house achieves a value of eight or nine, both players stand.
- If the player has five or less, he hits. Players stands otherwise.
- If the gambler stands, the bank hits on a value less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to see if the banker stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The better of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (even money minus a 5 percent rake. The Rake is recorded and paid off when you leave the game so be sure to have funds remaining just before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for nine to one versus eight to one)
Gambled on properly baccarat gives generally good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method
As with all games punto banco has a few general myths. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of events about to happen. Recording previous results on a page of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.
The most accepted and probably the most favorable plan is the one-three-two-six plan. This technique is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.
Begin by placing 1 unit. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain six on the table, pull off 4 so you have two on the 3rd round. If you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit two on the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth round.
If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Wins on the initial two with a hit on the third provides you with a profit of 2. And wins on the initial three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Winning all four bets gives you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd bet five instances for every successful run of 4 wagers and in the end, break even.
