Punto Banco Policies
Punto banco is enjoyed with eight decks in a shoe. Cards below 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the beginning digit is dumped. For example, a hand of five and six has a value of one (5 plus 6 = eleven; drop the initial ‘one’).
A 3rd card may be given depending on the rules below:
- If the player or banker has a total of eight or 9, the two players hold.
- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the gambler stands, the bank takes a card on five or lower. If the player takes a card, a table is employed to figure out if the bank holds or takes a card.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The larger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19 to 20 (equal cash minus a 5% commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out when you leave the game so ensure you still have funds remaining before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie typically pays out at 8:1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for nine to one versus eight to one)
Played correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Strategy
As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of familiar false impressions. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events about to happen. Tracking past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.
The most accepted and almost certainly the most acknowledged plan is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This method is used to maximize earnings and minimizing losses.
Start by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain 6 on the game table, pull off 4 so you have two on the third wager. Should you win the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth round.
Should you lose on the 1st round, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the initial bet followed by a hit on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Success on the initial two with a hit on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can squander the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four wagers and still are even.
