Punto Banco Codes
Punto banco is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below 10 are worth their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the cards, although the 1st number is dumped. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of one (five plus six equals eleven; drop the 1st ‘1′).
A 3rd card will be given out using the following rules:
- If the player or house has a score of 8 or nine, the two players hold.
- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the player stands, the bank takes a card on 5 or less. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is employed to see if the house stands or takes a card.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you leave the table so ensure you have funds around just before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie typically pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 vs. 8:1)
Played correctly punto banco provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action
As with all games punto banco has some accepted misconceptions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of events about to happen. Keeping track of past results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.
The most common and definitely the most successful course of action is the 1-3-2-6 method. This plan is deployed to maximize winnings and limit risk.
Start by betting one dollar. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you win you will hold 6 on the game table, take away four so you keep 2 on the third wager. If you succeed on the third round, deposit 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th round.
Should you lose on the first wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first round followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of 2. Success on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And success on the 1st three with a defeat on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you are able to lose the second bet five times for each successful streak of 4 bets and still balance the books.
