Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules

Punto banco is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the sum total of the two cards, however the 1st number is dumped. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a value of 1 (5 plus 6 equals 11; ignore the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the rules below:

- If the player or bank gets a value of 8 or 9, both players hold.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player holds, the banker hits on a value less than 5. If the gambler hits, a guide is employed to determine if the banker stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the house payout 19 to 20 (even payout less a 5 percent rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out once you leave the game so be sure to have cash around just before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)

Played properly baccarat banque provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has some general false impressions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events about to happen. Keeping score of previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most established and probably the most accomplished strategy is the one, three, two, six method. This method is employed to build up earnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting one unit. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a total of three dollars on the second bet. If you win you will retain 6 on the game table, take away 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd round. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd round, add two on the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th round.

Should you do not win on the 1st round, you take a loss of one. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of two. Success on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a gain of 2. And success on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 rounds gives you with 12, a take of 10. This means you can lose the 2nd round 5 instances for every favorable streak of four rounds and in the end, break even.
