Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards below a value of ten are of their printed number whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they merely symbolize the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the grand total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of seven as well as five results in a tally of 2 (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card might be dealt depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of 8 or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores will be the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have money remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie as a rule pays out at eight to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is not a good wager as ties happen less than 1 every ten hands. Run away from placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are noticeably better – 9 to one versus eight to one)

Played smartly, baccarat provides pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some common misconceptions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not a predictor of future happenings. Staying abreast of past conclusions on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and possibly most successful strategy is the one-three-2-6 concept. This technique is employed to pump up wins and cutting back risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
