Punto Banco Policies

Baccarat banque is played with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at their printed number and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, although the first digit is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a value of one (5 plus 6 = 11; drop the first ‘one’).

A additional card will be given using the following rules:

- If the player or house has a value of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler holds, the bank takes a card on five or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to decide if the house stays or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The higher of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the house pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout minus a 5 percent rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you depart the game so be sure to still have cash left before you depart). Winning bets on the player pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie usually pay eight to one but on occasion 9:1. (This is a awful wager as ties happen lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Bet on properly baccarat provides relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has a handful of general misunderstandings. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of future outcomes. Tracking previous outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most common and almost certainly the most favorable course of action is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This method is deployed to maximize profits and limit risk.

Start by wagering 1 dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three chips on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the game table, take away 4 so you have two on the third bet. If you succeed on the third bet, deposit 2 on the four on the game table for a total of six on the fourth wager.

If you do not win on the first bet, you take a loss of one. A profit on the initial wager followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Wins on the first two with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a take of ten. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd wager 5 times for every successful run of four bets and still experience no loss.
