Punto Banco Codes

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum of the two cards, however the beginning number is dropped. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (five plus six = eleven; drop the first ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given out based on the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of 8 or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has less than five, she takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the bank hits on five or less. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to decide if the house stands or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The better of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5% rake. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you quit the table so make sure you have cash remaining before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays out at one to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at 8:1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties happen lower than one in every ten hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 vs. 8:1)

Played correctly baccarat provides fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some familiar false impressions. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most established and probably the most successful strategy is the one, three, two, six tactic. This technique is used to pump up profits and limit risk.

Begin by placing one unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three units on the second bet. If you win you will now have six on the game table, take away 4 so you are left with two on the third round. Should you succeed on the 3rd wager, deposit two on the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the first bet followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a profit of 2. And success on the 1st three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Winning at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you are able to not win on the second bet five times for every successful run of four wagers and still are even.
