Baccarat Regulations

Punto banco is bet on with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the two cards, although the first number is ignored. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of 1 (five plus six equals eleven; drop the first ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given based on the following rules:

- If the player or house achieves a score of 8 or 9, the two players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the bank takes a card on five or lower. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to figure out if the house holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The better of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off once you depart the table so make sure you have money left before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning bets for a tie usually pay 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Gambled on properly baccarat banque gives generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action

As with all games punto banco has quite a few familiar false impressions. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most accepted and likely the most acknowledged plan is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This method is used to maximize earnings and limit losses.

Begin by betting 1 chip. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three chips on the second bet. Should you win you will now have six on the table, subtract 4 so you keep 2 on the third round. Should you win the 3rd round, put down two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first round followed by a hit on the second brings about a hit of 2. Success on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a profit of two. And success on the initial 3 with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd bet five times for every successful run of four rounds and still experience no loss.
