Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies

Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are worth their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the cards, although the 1st number is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a value of one (5 plus six = 11; drop the 1st ‘one’).

A third card will be given out using the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank has a score of eight or 9, the two players stand.

- If the player has less than five, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the gambler holds, the house hits on five or less. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to decide if the bank holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The better of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (equal money minus a five percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you depart the game so be sure to have funds remaining just before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of betting on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. 8:1)

Wagered on correctly baccarat banque provides pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games Baccarat has quite a few accepted misconceptions. One of which is close to a absurdity in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of events yet to happen. Tracking past outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most familiar and definitely the most accomplished course of action is the one, three, two, six tactic. This plan is used to pump up winnings and minimizing losses.

Start by betting one chip. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold 6 on the game table, subtract four so you are left with 2 on the third round. Should you win the 3rd round, add two to the 4 on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the 1st round followed by a loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the 1st 3 with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Winning all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can give up the second round 5 times for each successful streak of 4 rounds and in the end, balance the books.
