Baccarat Policies

Punto banco is bet on with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a value of one (five plus six equals eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be dealt based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank gets a total of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the player has less than five, she takes a card. Players otherwise hold.

- If the player stands, the house takes a card on five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to decide if the house stands or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The bigger of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and paid off when you quit the game so be sure to have money left over just before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a poor bet as ties occur less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat chemin de fer offers pretty decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action

As with all games baccarat banque has some established misconceptions. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events about to happen. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.

The most established and likely the most favorable method is the one, three, two, six plan. This method is used to build up profits and minimizing risk.

Start by placing one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a sum of 3 units on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the table, subtract 4 so you keep 2 on the third bet. Should you win the 3rd bet, add two on the 4 on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th bet.

Should you do not win on the initial bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the first wager followed by a loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of two. And success on the first 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all 4 wagers gives you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you are able to give up the second round 5 instances for each favorable streak of four wagers and in the end, balance the books.
